About Myra
My passion for mathematics began with fascination for how numbers and logical structures can explain patterns in the world with precision. I earned a B.Sc in Pure Mathematics and later completed an M.Sc in Computational Mathematics, which allowed me to explore both theoretical depth and applied problem solving. Over 11 years of teaching, I have guided students through mathematical challenges with patience and clarity.
I believe math should feel supportive and achievable for every learner. My teaching style focuses on breaking down complex ideas into manageable steps, using visual explanation, structured reasoning, and real-world examples when helpful. I encourage students to ask questions freely and build confidence through understanding rather than memorization.
Outside tutoring, I remain engaged with mathematics through continual problem solving, reading applied research, and exploring mathematical modeling across science and technology. Teaching math is rewarding because students often transform from frustration into confidence. Supporting learners as they unlock their logical potential is deeply meaningful to me.

Mathematics becomes far less intimidating when students learn to approach it as a logical language rather than a collection of disconnected formulas. In my lessons, I guide learners through algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus foundations, and structured problem-solving methods with calm explanation and steady practice. I focus on building understanding step by step so students gain confidence in tackling challenging questions. Each session encourages patience and progress.
Lessons are always adapted to the learner’s level. Beginners strengthen arithmetic fluency, algebraic expressions, and basic geometry through guided practice. Intermediate learners develop skills in equations, functions, graphs, and multi-step reasoning with structured exercises. Advanced students focus on calculus techniques, deeper algebraic problem solving, exam-level applications, and conceptual clarity with detailed feedback. Practice tasks and correction support are included in every lesson.
Maths lessons also help students build resilience and sharper thinking. Many learners feel proud when they solve problems that once seemed impossible. My goal is to help students feel confident, capable, and motivated through mathematics learning.
