About Daphne
My fascination with mathematics began through observing patterns, logical reasoning, and problem-solving in the world around me. This inspired me to pursue a B.Sc in Mathematics and an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, equipping me with both theoretical depth and analytical skills. Over 11 years, I have guided learners at different levels to strengthen their conceptual knowledge, problem-solving ability, and confidence.
I use a student-centered approach combining visual explanations, guided exercises, real-life applications, and iterative feedback. I encourage learners to explore ideas, ask questions, and develop independent analytical skills. My method emphasizes both mastery and curiosity.
Outside the classroom, I engage in applied mathematics projects, research, and problem-solving initiatives that enrich lessons with contemporary relevance. Seeing students grow from hesitation to mastery, developing confidence and reasoning ability, is deeply rewarding. Supporting learners to become capable, thoughtful, and confident mathematicians is the central goal of my teaching.

Mathematics becomes more meaningful when students grasp both concepts and their applications. My lessons cover algebra, geometry, calculus, probability, and statistics, focusing on logical reasoning, step-by-step problem-solving, and conceptual clarity. I integrate visual aids, real-life examples, interactive exercises, and critical thinking tasks to nurture curiosity and confidence. Each session encourages independent thinking and practical understanding.
Lesson content is adapted to the student’s level. Beginners focus on arithmetic, basic algebra, and logical exercises. Intermediate learners tackle functions, multi-step problems, geometry, and probability. Advanced learners explore modeling, proofs, optimization, and analytical challenges, with structured guidance, practice, and iterative feedback. Every session balances explanation, application, and reasoning exercises.
Learning mathematics develops structured thinking, analytical reasoning, and confidence in tackling challenges. Students acquire skills that apply across disciplines and daily life.
