About Amrita
My interest in mathematics began during my school years when I discovered that solving mathematical problems felt like completing a logical puzzle. This curiosity encouraged me to pursue higher studies in the field, eventually earning a Master’s degree in Mathematics. Over the past 8 years, I have worked with students from different academic levels and helped them improve both their understanding and confidence in math.
I believe that every student can succeed in mathematics with the right guidance and learning approach. Many learners struggle because they miss small foundational ideas. My teaching style focuses on identifying those gaps and explaining concepts in a clear and patient way. Some students benefit from visual explanations, while others prefer step by step problem solving. By adapting my teaching method, I aim to make learning comfortable for each individual student.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading about mathematical applications in science, technology, and economics. This ongoing learning helps me bring fresh examples and real-world connections into my lessons. Helping students move from confusion to confidence is one of the most rewarding parts of my work. My goal is to support learners in developing strong mathematical thinking that will benefit them in many areas of life.

Mathematics becomes easier when students understand the logic behind each concept rather than simply memorizing formulas. My lessons focus on building strong foundations so that learners can approach problems with confidence. We begin by reviewing core topics such as numbers, algebra, and equations. Many students feel nervous about maths because they believe it is too complex, but when ideas are explained step by step, patterns become clear and problem solving becomes more manageable.
During lessons, I guide students through important mathematical areas including algebraic expressions, geometry, basic calculus concepts, and data interpretation depending on their learning level. Each concept is explained carefully before students begin solving problems. Practice questions are used to help learners apply what they have learned while also strengthening their reasoning skills. I encourage students to explain their thinking because discussing solutions often helps them understand the process more clearly.
As students progress, they develop stronger confidence in their ability to solve challenging problems. They begin to recognize that mathematics is built on logical steps rather than complicated tricks. My goal is to create a calm and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable exploring ideas and asking questions. With steady practice and clear explanations, maths becomes a subject that students can understand and even enjoy.
