About Kritika
Over twelve years of teaching Math, I’ve learned how powerful a supportive environment can be for students who may feel uncertain or anxious about the subject. I take time to understand their challenges and guide them patiently so they can rebuild confidence and develop a more positive relationship with learning. My calm, reassuring approach helps students feel comfortable expressing confusion and celebrating progress. My background includes working with learners of all ages and levels, from early foundational skills to exam preparation. This allows me to adapt explanations, adjust pacing, and present ideas in ways that feel intuitive. I enjoy helping students discover that Math is not just about solving problems but also about building reasoning skills they can use everywhere. What I appreciate most about teaching is watching students grow into confident thinkers. Seeing them overcome challenges, master new concepts, and finally feel capable in a subject they once found difficult is deeply rewarding. I work hard to make each lesson meaningful, uplifting, and fully supportive of their long-term success.

My Maths lessons provide structured, supportive guidance through key topics such as elementary school math, middle school math, algebra, geometry, and SAT math. We start by reviewing essential foundations so students gain confidence in number operations, reasoning skills, and core strategies. Clear explanations and thoughtful pacing help ensure students feel grounded before moving forward into more challenging material.
As students grow more comfortable, we work through algebraic expressions, geometry concepts, word problems, and multi-step reasoning tasks. I help students recognize patterns, understand why methods work, and choose efficient strategies that suit their learning style. For SAT math, we focus on common question types, time-management, and test-friendly approaches that reduce stress.
In the later stages, students learn to break down complex problems into manageable steps, apply multiple strategies, and build strong mathematical intuition. By reinforcing concepts consistently and encouraging questions, I help learners develop steady skill growth and renewed confidence. My goal is to make Maths feel approachable, logical, and manageable for every student.
