About Saira
I have taught over 120 lessons in maths and programming to students varying from Y7 to Y11. I have an Enhanced DBS Certificate.
I attained straight grade 9s and A*s in my GCSEs and A-levels.
This included Edexcel Maths IGCSE and A-level.
I currently study Computer Science at university and love both maths and programming. I hope to encourage students with my passionate approach to these subjects.
Having finished school not too long ago, I still have fresh knowledge of the specification and exam techniques. Although I love maths, I completely understand the struggles that come with it. I will help to break down difficult concepts and strengthen a student's approach to exam questions.

- Each lesson is 1 hour long.
- If there are specific topics that the student wants to work on, I can plan our lessons in advance around this. If not, we can work through topics in the syllabus.
- I will always begin a lesson by discussing any areas that the student might be struggling with and I may test their ability in order to gauge where they are at.
In maths, the best way to learn is with practice, so we will work through questions together until the student is confident on a topic.
I will also follow up on a topic at the start of our next lesson to encourage the student to consolidate what has been covered and ensure no progress is lost.
