About Lya
Qualifications & Experience:
I am a fully qualified teacher, holding a QTS and an enhanced DBS. I have classroom teaching experience in state, private, and international schools.
I have experience working with students of all levels and backgrounds.
I have experience working with students with learning disabilities like dyslexia and dyscalculia as well as students with ADHD.
I also have experience tutoring international students from all around the world who are studying (or would like to study) the British curriculum.
A personal approach:
I take pride in building long-lasting relationships with the students and families I teach.

Hello, my name is Lya and I am offering one-to-one online maths lessons for students from KS1 to KS3 (reception to YR 9).
My Approach:
I believe in personalised learning experiences tailored to each of my student's needs. I know the maths curriculum inside out. Whether you need help in a specific area or want all-round maths support, I am here to help and support you. No matter what level you are at now, I can help you unlock your full potential.
My plans are very flexible: some of my students book a one-off lesson every now and then, some of my students are on intensive 5-lesson a week plans. Homework for in-between lessons can be provided at no extra cost, if desired.
Techniques & Methodology:
All my lessons are online, one-to-one and 50 minutes long (double sessions with a break in-between available).
My lessons are interactive and engaging, never boring. I focus on building motivation and confidence in my students.
