About Usayd
Hi, my name is Usayd. I am a final year undergraduate studying Mathematics at Queen Mary University London. I have an excellent background in maths with an A* in maths A level and an A in further maths A level.
I have been tutoring for over 2 years from KS1 to A level so I have quite good experience with teaching students and have enhanced my communication/explanation skills greatly. During this time I have also improved my patience and understanding with a good balance of strictness as I have taught some of the most mischievous children I have ever met. As I am also studying maths at university I am very proficient in my subject, so subject knowledge is not a problem.
Officially I have been tutoring for over 2 years but, unofficially, I have been teaching friends and family far longer. Even now I am teaching my younger sister maths A level so that she can sit the exam separate from school.

I prefer to go through entire syllabus with my students right from the beginning and see how well the pupil knows each topic. Then, I go over all the areas that the students does not know very well. Once I am through with the syllabus, at least one month before the exams, we would then go through the past papers so familiarize my student with time management, the types of questions that appear and how to answer them.
