I got an A* in both GCSE and A-Level maths while also studying further maths

Personally I believe the teaching method depends on the student I'm working with. Different people learn in different ways and thus being adaptable to each person's individual needs is key.
Technique and Pattern are the core aspects of understanding maths at this level and so would be the starting point of teaching. Then moving towards working through examples and past papers as they are the most straightforward and beneficial method for developing maths abilities.
PLC's are particularly useful and going through each aspect in specific detail will allow the student to understand in depth the entire criteria for their subject

Ben has a younger brother and sisters who he has always been a great influence and support to.
He has worked in school helping even the most maths terrified to enjoy and make progress.
He has a gentle and warm personality and a sense of humour that makes for a perfect personal tutor.Ben's a really clever guy and really knows his stuff but he's really great because of his organic style and the way he prioritises what you're weaker at and how he sees it. He's also fantastic because it does feel like a friend is helping you out and not a teacher. He has been a real help for me and my exams. If you need a tutor who can push you without making you feel inadequate and who can really support you, this is the guy.
