About Dmitrij
I’m a Mathematics and Applied Mathematics student teacher at Maynooth University, and I also work with the Maynooth University Mathematics Support Centre, helping secondary school students with mathematics.
I offer one to one grinds in Maths and Applied Maths for Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate students. My lessons are tailored to each student, whether they need help understanding difficult topics, improving exam technique, working through past papers, or building confidence in maths.
As someone training to become a mathematics teacher and already working directly with secondary school students through Maynooth University, I understand both the subject itself and how to explain difficult ideas in a clear, approachable way.
I’m happy to work with students of different ability levels, from those who are struggling with the basics to students aiming for high grades.

I offer online Maths grinds for Junior Cycle and Leaving Cert students, as well as Leaving Cert Applied Maths grinds.
My lessons are tailored to each student and focus on understanding the material properly while also developing strong exam technique. I break difficult topics down into clear, manageable steps and use worked examples, past-paper questions and exam style problems to reinforce each topic.
Depending on the student’s needs, we can focus on areas they are struggling with, revise previous material, prepare for upcoming tests or work specifically towards the Junior Cycle or Leaving Certificate exams.
For Applied Maths students, I can also provide support with topics that may be difficult to access through school, particularly for students whose school does not offer the subject.
My aim is to help students become more confident, accurate and independent when approaching mathematical problems.
