About Emily
My name is Emily, I am currently a high school student in dual enrollment for my AA degree. I play competitive state-level volleyball and am an orchestra student who plays violin. Being a student myself, I understand the struggle it can be to learn unfamiliar material and I hope to guide students through it and lend a hand. I hope to help others build confidence and improve their math skills!

I teach pre—algebra, algebra l and geometry, I break down concepts into step by step explanations and use logic to solve a math problem. I will guide students through a few practice problems and then allow them to do their own individual problems with my guidance. I understand the methods and expectations of a modern math class and I can guide students to do above and beyond. I can aid students in homework, studying, and state exams. I believe in practice and hope to help others! I can help anyone from pre-algebra to geometry (7-10th grade).
