About Sope
I Assisted mentoring year 11s of Urmston Grammar School before registration in preparation for their GCSEs and year 10s after school in preparation for their mocks at The East Manchester Academy, where I
received very positive feedback of improvement in academic performance from both the students and their teachers. I have also coached some of my neighbours who were struggling with their STEM subjects during GCSEs which assisted in their progression into A levels and later into universities.

I am running online lessons for those who find themselves struggling with their studies. In light of the current pandemic and the increased difficulties for pupils to engage with their teachers, I am confident that i can deliver concepts and find ways to increase understanding. I aim to make sure that the knowledge is implicitly understood by the pupils so that can think laterally when applying concepts to exam questions and other topics. Being a student, I believe that I would be able to guide the tutees through methods that helped me excel, by drawing from past personal experience. For example, I would be able suggest additional online materials to supplement their learning between our sessions.
