About SYED HUMAYL HASSAN
Hi, I'm Syed Humayl Hassan. I am a mechanical engineering student at the Institute of Space Technology, a national ASME competition winner, and a former mechanical design intern.
My journey with CAD started out just like yours staring at a blank screen, wondering why my sketches wouldn't fully define, and dealing with assemblies that kept breaking. Over the years, through trial, error, and real industry experience, I cracked the code on how to use SolidWorks efficiently.
Eventually, I became the go-to CAD person at my university, which led me to lead and instruct official ASME CAD training workshops for large cohorts of students. I don't look at SolidWorks as just a software program; it's the tool I use daily to bring physical prototypes, drones, and robotic systems to life.I’m here to save you months of frustration by sharing the exact shortcuts, design logic, and industry workflows that took me years to master. Let’s skip the guesswork and get you modeling like a professional.
‘’Remember, build your skills to excel in it, not to compete, but to stand out on every stage.
Everyone has their own way to twinkle the sky with stars; you just have to find your own.’’

I’ve spent the last four years living inside SolidWorks, designing everything from 6-DOF robotic arms and flapping wing drones to heavy industrial machinery. I also teach the official ASME CAD workshops at my university.
If there is one thing I’ve learned, it’s this "Learning CAD from random tutorials is frustrating because they teach you what buttons to click, but not how to think like a designer". My lessons are built to fix that. We won't just memorize toolbars. Instead, we will build actual mechanical assemblies and production-ready blueprints using real engineering workflows.
️ How We Will Spend Our Time Together
I don't believe in long, boring lectures. Every 60-minute session is completely practical and split into a clean layout.
The Blueprint (5 Mins): We look at your immediate goal whether it's a tough university assignment, a personal project, or a specific design hurdle you're stuck on.
The Workflow (20 Mins): I share my screen and build a live model from scratch, explaining my design intent, how to avoid geometric errors, and the exact constraints to use.
The Pilot Seat (30 Mins): You take over the screen. You do the actual modeling while I act as your co-pilot, catching your mistakes in real-time and teaching you the shortcuts professionals use.
The Next Step (5 Mins): We wrap up with a clear, small practice task for you to tackle before our next session to keep your muscle memory sharp.
Who This Is Specially Built ForEngineering Undergrads:
If you are struggling to keep up with your university CAD curriculum, need to ace an exam, or have a design project that requires complex modeling.
Aspiring CAD Professionals:
If you are a technician or looking to transition into a design role where you need to build clean, error-free assemblies and generate proper manufacturing drawings.
Why Learn With Me?
I’m a mechanical engineering student at the Institute of Space Technology, and I’ve worked as a mechanical design intern doing real prototyping and product design. I also won the ASME Beam Design championship.Because I use this software daily for real-world projects, I know exactly where SolidWorks gets frustrating, where the software tends to glitch, and how to build models that don't break when you change a single dimension. No corporate jargon, no overwhelming fluff, just practical design skills taught by an engineer who loves building things.

Syed Humayl helped me completely turn around my performance in my university CAD curriculum. I was struggling heavily with complex modeling assignments and passing deadlines, but he broke down SolidWorks into simple, manageable steps. He teaches you how to map out a part before you start sketching so you avoid errors entirely. Thanks to his structured approach, I passed my engineering design evaluations with ease.
Syed Humayl is an exceptional CAD modeler. We worked together on complex engineering projects at the Institute of Space Technology, and his command over SolidWorks is outstanding. Whenever our team faced errors with geometric relations or broken assemblies, he could diagnose the problem instantly. He has a natural ability to explain design intent and parametric logic clearly. He will make an incredible tutor for anyone looking to master mechanical design.
