About MUHAMMAD
I started tutoring the younger years in school at an age of 15. These sessions were to help my students keep organised with time, complete homework to a high standard and develop key mathematical and scientific concepts. My tutoring prowess was soon recognised by my head of year in school as I was elected to formally advise younger students regarding their academic life. At A-Level I continued this to help GCSE students thrive, as well as teaching my fellow peers.
I strongly believe that with the right tailored method, every student has the potential to succeed, whether it be to meet target grades or university offers. By tackling problems head on, hand in hand with clear cut step by step methodology, I will develop my students as problem solvers, making them more confident in their ability. I pride myself on how I deliver the session, so if my student doesn’t understand the topic then I am able to adapt the teaching style to make it more familiar to them.
Lastly, I feel that producing a friendly and comfortable environment is crucial to develop a deep approach to learning. I create a fun, relaxed and efficient environment that my students learn in, as this is what I have found to be most beneficial. I am also excited for the opportunity to develop and continue as a tutor. I am a big fan of learning myself and making new ways to enhance the learning experience is my ongoing goal.

I have over 3 years of teaching/tutoring experience combined. I had been teaching online for over 2 years now and been achieving great results and feedback from it. I have an excellent record of pupils who get top exam results. Most of my pupils had gone on to the universities/colleges of their choice and continued to do well, confident that they are capable of doing great. My pupils considered me their mentor who always got their back. I encourage them to be confident in tackling on challenging Maths questions and not afraid to make mistakes as that’s part of the learning process.
I have a degree in Mechanical engineering with honours, done different certifications regarding teaching and doing Maters.
It takes patience and some sense of humour to put pupils at ease which I have in abundance of. I believe that there are various approaches to a problem and each pupil has his/her own unique style. I would then tweak that approach if need be to sort out any misconceptions.
I consider tutoring a very rewarding job as oppose to classroom teaching where you have around 30 pupils to contend with. In tutoring, you have one to one teaching which to me means tuition is bespoke, catered mainly to suit the pupils' needs.
Online tutoring, which is now the go to type of tutoring in this climate, is super sleek, highly efficient with an experienced online tutor which I am. It also enables the pupils to access our lesson's notes anytime they want online.. It is also economical on paper as all resources and working out are now online. Lessons are faster hence progress is faster too.
