About Nakaana
I’ve been tutoring for over 15 years, with clients between the ages of 6 and 67. My engineering background requires a strong understanding of a variety of math, physics and chemistry. I can adapt to any learning style and work with any personality and at any pace. I build confidence in my students from the get go and get them to see that they have the ability to succeed.

I assess where your knowledge gaps are and teach to your style at your pace. I build confidence in my students and I’m very patient. My last 10 students all experienced immediate grade boosts, one student even skipped an entire math grade after 3 months of tutoring. A typical lesson with me starts out with a brief review of last session, answering any questions the student has. Then we spend the majority of the session learning new topics, a mix of me teaching and the student practicing what I’m teaching them. The last 10 minutes of the session I make sure the student understands what was taught and I assign their homework to be completed for next time.
