About Keshava
I have just over 5 years of experience as a tutor; so far I have had around 25 students who came for consistent help (weekly for at least a full academic semester), and probably another 20 who just wanted help with understanding some concepts here and there. The material I've covered ranges from introductory Geometry and Trig in high school to AP Calculus, Physics, and Chem. Most of my students were in college and asked for help with Mechanical Eng. courses or Calculus.

I studied Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science at Washington State University. I graduated in May 2016, and passed the Mechanical FE exam. Some courses I have taken and feel comfortable tutoring include: Differential Equations, Complex Analysis, Organic & Physical Chemistry, Engineering Physics (Mechanics, E&M), Composite Mechanics, Fluid Mechanics and Thermodynamics, and Control Systems. In the past I have also given assistance with PLC programming (Siemens) and Matlab. I like to help with more fundamental math and science coursework too (my youngest student so far was a Freshman in high school). I like to tutor with a lot of examples and give encouragement; I think it's the easiest way to make a new concept seem concrete, and it keeps me sharp. Other than that, I leave the decisions regarding lesson structure up to the student and take things on a case by case basis. Everyone learns at their own pace, and people may be looking to gain different things from tutoring.
