About Joseph
I am a Mechanical Engineering student at Newcastle University with a strong academic background in Maths and Physics. Throughout my degree I have developed a strong understanding of both subjects and how they can be applied to real-world problems.
I enjoy helping people understand topics that initially seem difficult and aim to explain things in a clear, patient and approachable way. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I am happy to adapt my explanations and lesson style to suit each individual student.
My aim is to help students improve their understanding, confidence and exam performance while making Maths and Physics feel much more manageable.

I offer one-to-one Maths and Physics tutoring for GCSE students, with each lesson tailored to the student’s individual needs and areas they find most difficult. I focus on making topics easy to understand by breaking them down into clear, manageable steps before applying them to practice and exam-style questions.
Lessons typically last around one hour and can focus on specific topics, homework help, revision, exam technique or general support with the subject.
