About Simon
I grew up in South Africa, graduated high school with a distinction in mathematics and physical sciences and an overall matric average of 84%. I am now doing my second year as a mechanical engineering student at one of the best engineering universities in South Africa, University of Johannesburg. I will do everything in my power to help the students understand the works of math and physics as these subjects can sometimes be a bit confusing or hard to understand.

Hi, my name is Simon, a BEng undergraduate based in South Africa. I am here to help young scholars (grade 8-12) to reach success in fields like Math and Physical sciences to prepare them for a bright future in their upcoming studies in varsity. I teach mainly in Afrikaans but can do English as well. The approach with my sessions will be easy for students to adapt to, as it was not too long ago that I was in their shoes trying my best to perform at the highest level. Therefore the sessions will only be 45 min to an hour online. Each session I will help the student to tackle some math concepts they are struggling with. The session will contain a short summary of the knowledge the student needs to know to do the work, and after that brief explanation we will do a few practice examples to ensure the student understands the work.
