About Kayla
I am a passionate learner who believes in optimizing learning behaviors to achieve the best marks a student can. I am also a well-rounded tutor who achieved first in my cohort for Math Ext 1 and 2, Chemistry, and Studies of Religion, while achieving band 6's in Advanced and Extension English. Most importantly though, I am a patient and helpful tutor who goes above and beyond for students, meeting their learning journey wherever they are.

My teaching methodology is a focus on meeting the student where they are in their learning journey; whether that pertains to first understanding a topic or breaking down a harder exam question that challenges the student. My typical tutoring duration is 1 hour. I have been tutoring for all of 2025 as in 2024 I finished first in my cohort for Math Ext 1 and 2, Chemistry, and Studies of Religion with an ATAR of 96.75.
