About Areej
Hi, I’m Areej, a medical doctor and lifelong learner with a strong academic background and a penchant for sharing knowledge. I graduated from Semmelweis University in Budapest and have trained across major clinical disciplines, giving me a clear, practical approach to complex medical topics. Having studied and lived across Canada and Europe, I bring a broad, culturally aware perspective to my teaching. I know what it’s like to study under pressure and as an international student, and I aim to make learning clear, supportive, and confidence-building. My sessions are tailored to help students feel capable and prepared.

My teaching approach is structured and adaptable, offering two complementary tutoring styles. I provide exam-focused sessions, where a topic or exam list is shared in advance, and lessons are dedicated to reviewing, clarifying, and solidifying key concepts. I also offer teaching-focused sessions, where subjects are explained comprehensively from the ground up over longer, structured lessons throughout the semester to support strong exam preparation.
As a medical doctor, I teach medicine, anatomy, pharmacology, and microbiology with clear explanations and clinical insight. Lessons are tailored to the student’s level and goals and are suitable for pre-med students as well as medical students in pre-clinical and early clinical years, with additional physical exam and patient anamnesis practice.
