About Henry
I am from Melbourne, Australia. I did my schooling in Glen Waverley Public High School. In Year 9, I got a scholarship to the prestigious Melbourne High School and later graduated at the top 5% of the population. I then went on to study Bachelor Degree in Medicine and Surgery at Monash University. I graduated from MBBS in 1998 and have been a doctor for 18 years.
I have no qualification in teaching but do have a lot of experience in people skills, recognising people's weaknesses and their strengths, guiding people in the right path in life. My approach is not didactic but will be customised to the individual. I believe that if one has the right mental capacity, knowledge and belief in themselves and their own abilities, the rest will take care of itself. I believe in working smart not working hard.

General Practitioner for 10 years and currently looking at fulfilling other interests in my life. I have a passion for teaching and thought it might be a good idea to start teaching students, helping them guide through their academic years. I have a wealth of knowledge academically but more importantly, techniques in learning, personal development, time management, prioritisation, goal setting, stress management and cognitive improvement.
My approach to teaching is one on one or small group. I will need to assess the level as to where the student is at and design the curriculum according to each of their needs and goals in life. It will be structured around the school curriculum and with my guidance in techniques and approaches in dealing with the workload, stresses and demands on schooling, I hope to bring out the best in them.
