About Adelanke
My name is Dr Adelanke and I look forward to working with you.
I come from a strong background in science and medicine, and I have always been passionate about understanding how things work, not just memorising facts, but truly making sense of them. That’s one of the main reasons I love teaching. I enjoy breaking down complex topics into simple, clear ideas that actually stick and are easy to remember
I decided to teach because I know how challenging some subjects can feel, especially when they are not explained in the right way and using a single analogy.
I want to make learning easier, more engaging and even enjoyable for you.
My goal is to help you build confidence, think critically and achieve your best so far whether that is in exams or just understanding the subject better.

My approach to private tutoring is centred on understanding each student as an individual, rather than applying a one-size-fits-all method. I begin by identifying the student’s current level, strengths, and specific areas of difficulty, then tailor sessions to address those gaps in a structured but flexible way.
I also prioritise building a strong conceptual foundation, because I believe true understanding is far more valuable than rote memorisation, especially in core science subjects and English Language
