About Sheil
I am a medical school admit with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Tufts University, where I earned high grades in both general chemistry and organic chemistry. My success in these courses came from using structured, concept-based study methods rather than memorization.
I apply the same proven approaches when tutoring, helping students break down complex topics, understand fundamentals, and develop effective study systems they can reuse across science courses. My goal is to help students gain confidence, improve performance, and achieve lasting mastery in chemistry and the natural sciences.

As a tutor, my goal is to help students achieve true mastery of their subject, not just short-term exam performance. I believe that strong fundamentals and conceptual understanding are the foundation of long-term success, especially in demanding subjects like chemistry, organic chemistry, and the natural sciences.
I begin by understanding each student’s goals—whether that’s improving grades, preparing for exams, strengthening weak foundations, or gaining confidence in a difficult course. From there, I design a personalized learning plan tailored to their timeline, level, and objectives. When needed, I also help students build realistic study schedules to stay organized and consistent outside of lessons.
