About Amir
I am a former Year 12 student at Marryatville High School, having studied Chemistry (Achieved A grade band), Biology (Achieved A++ (Merit) grade band), Mathematical Methods (Achieved A grade band) and English Literary Studies (Achieved A++ (Merit) grade band); while also in a school choir and a school ensemble.
I achieved an adjusted ATAR or selection rank of 99.95 and a base ATAR of 98.60. Currently I am enrolled in the University of Tasmania's Bachelor of Medical Science, Doctor of Medicine program.
As for hobbies, I enjoy writing and reading, I'm pretty big on history, I love music (I play the violin), painting and embroidery, and I also like to volunteer when I can.

Writing and reading are fun.
They should be fun, really engaging activities to stimulate imagination and excite people. Who doesn't love making up their own creative world, or ranting about their opinions? That's all 'creative writing' and 'essays' really are.
I think if you want to learn, that's already half the battle. Everyone is amazing at English, they just don't know it. And that's because English has weird (and sometimes annoying) rules and styles and techniques, all of which can be confusing and difficult to use- but only if you don't understand them.
I would take an active and engaging approach to showing you how to master expressing what you already have: creativity, opinions, ideas.
I am also able to teach less conventional knowledge, such as that regarding current affairs, philosophical concepts, social theories (such as feminism, critical race theory, etc.) and other humanities-related concepts which are largely not taught at school.
Should I end on a metaphor? Nah, I'm not getting paid enough for that!
