About Willow
I am a medical student aspiring to become a cardiothoracic surgeon at the end of my training. I completed my Double Degree Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts (English Major and Visual Arts Minor) at ANU as I wanted the opportunity to pursue both the arts and science together. Throughout my medical career I hope to keep developing and passing on my English and Visual Arts skills and inspiring students who are also interested in multiple areas of study. I am also very skilled at time management and can help you create a study plan, or a step-by-step of how to achieve your goals!

Hi I'm Willow! ️ I'm an ANU Bachelor of Medical Science and Arts (Majoring in English, Minor in Visual Arts Practice) graduate in my first year of Medical School and am hoping to help students with any area of study! I achieved a GPA of 6.7 and graduated VCE achieving study scores of 40 in Biology, Literature, Philosophy, Japanese and Studio Arts. I also completed a university extension subject in Year 12 concurrently with my other VCE studies. My areas of expertise include: Study methods and strategies Science (Biology, Chemistry) Medicine English English Literature Philosophy Visual Arts and more! I'm an experienced optimistic and friendly tutor with a flexible teaching style to suit your individual needs and can provide lots of resources to aid your understanding. I am also able to help you with good study methods and boost your motivation to make you feel eager to learn more. I have been tutoring ever since graduating from Mount Waverley Secondary College in 2017, working with students of a variety of ages from primary school to university level. I love tutoring because I am extremely passionate about learning and want to inspire and innovate students so they too can share a love for learning. There is nothing more beautiful than empowering another through knowledge. I am very skilled at essay writing and can help you develop your own individual writing style and help you improve proofreading methods. Willow is an amazing tutor! She tutored me at ANU in BIOL2171: Biochemistry and Nutrition, BIOL2161: Gene: Replication and Expression, and MEDN2001: Medical Physiology and Pharmacology via zoom. Her enthusiasm in relation to these courses and science in general was greatly motivating. She provided me with feedback on assignments and was more than happy to give step-by-step explanations to specific questions I had. This greatly benefited my learning and overall grades.
