About Jamie
I am a current first year medical student who graduated magna cum laude from UCLA with honors in 2024. I majored in psychobiology with a minor in evolutionary medicine. I scored a 1550 on the SAT through self-study and maintained a 4.55 GPA in high school. I took 11 AP courses, 3 honors classes, and 5 SAT Subject tests as well. I am very familiar with these classes/exams and am confident that I can help my students succeed in those subjects as well! I've been tutoring students of all ages through the California Scholarship Federation, Kumon Tutoring Center, and privately. I look forward to working with you!

Jamie is the best tutor! She is super sweet and eager to help. I had a hard time following my teacher's lectures in class but my lessons with Jamie have been super clear. Each lesson helps me understand math much better, and gives me practice working through problems so that I am well prepared for the tests. I used to be really behind in class but now I'm even ahead of the curriculum!
I've tried out many tutors, and Jamie is definitely the best one I have worked with. She helps me with both English and Algebra 2, and I've seen a steady improvement in my grades. She is very patient and clear when explaining concepts and working through problems. The lessons she comes up with are all very detailed and informative! I highly recommend her if you want to understand concepts clearly and excel in school!
