About Anna
My name is Anna, I am currently studying medicine at the University of Liverpool in my second year. I really enjoy the science subjects especially chemistry, I also know in-depth biology as well as the structure of the exam-style questions and where to gain the marks. I am very adaptable, organised and prepared, I'm very friendly and hope to teach people in a fun way but also make sure that the content sticks. I use a lot of practice questions and try to quiz randomly to make sure students understand the concepts. I have experience tutoring students in GSCE science at school and also A level chemistry

My approach is to find out the students' weaknesses in the subject. Then go over the topics they are struggling with, to do this I start with a general quiz/questions then teach them in-depth about it and the structure of how to answer each type of exam question. I keep going back to a previous topic to make sure it has stuck in the student's mind. I'm flexible with lesson time lengths but typically would around 40 mins to an hour. I can teach GCSE and A level Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I got AAA* in my A-levels and all 9's in the subjects for GCSE.
