About Chanel
Hi! I’m Chanel, a medical student at the University of Birmingham with a genuine passion for teaching and helping students reach their potential.
I’ve always loved learning, particularly the sciences, and achieved 3 A*s and an A at A-level, including A*s in Biology and Chemistry, before going on to study Medicine. Having gone through competitive exams myself, I understand how overwhelming studying can sometimes feel and, more importantly, how much difference the right support can make.
I tutor students across a wide range of ages and abilities, from primary school and 7+/9+/11+ preparation through to GCSE and A-level. I teach Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Combined Science, Maths and English, alongside entrance-exam preparation.
My teaching style is patient, encouraging and structured, but I also want lessons to be enjoyable. I don’t believe in simply giving students information to memorise. I focus on helping them genuinely understand what they are learning, develop effective problem

I’m a medical student at the University of Birmingham and an experienced tutor. I achieved an A in A-level Chemistry* and have continued to use and develop my scientific knowledge throughout medical school.
