About Ribal
I graduated from Portland State University with a B.S. in science and psychology with a minor in chemistry. Currently in my last and final year of medical school. Excited to start my residency in the coming academic year.
Prior tutoring history of my colleagues in college, prior teaching assistant in the psychology department, prior tutor to my cousins from grade 1-8. I have different teaching styles depending on the age group and subject I am tutoring.

I have experience teaching students of all different ages. I work particularly well with elementary and middle school students because of my experience tutoring my cousins.
I cater my tutoring style to that of the students. Some students are visual learners, some are auditory learners and some learn from problem-solving.
I usually start my sessions with a quick oral quiz on the last session’s material (just to make sure you got a good grasp on that material), then will go over any questions you have before tackling the lesson plan. It’s hard to say exactly what the lesson plan would be like because as I mentioned, each student is different and each student will learn better with a specific style. It might take a session or two to figure out the style that works for you, but my overall end goal is to motivate you and help you in any way I possibly can.
