About Dunya
I am a 4th year Medical Student in London with over 8 years’ experience tutoring pupils from reception to undergraduate level in biology and chemistry, mostly in one-to-one tuition but also leading group seminars. Every type of student is welcome in my sessions and deserves the chance to achieve their ambitions, as I have worked with many ages, academic abilities (foundation and higher tier), economic backgrounds and learning disabilities. After the pleasure of seeing these talented individuals come into their own with a little guidance, I am proud to say all my students have achieved their goals of obtaining A*s-Cs in test scores, GCSEs and A Levels, when some had initially been predicted to fail or not even finish the year.

Excited to engage with GCSE students, my pupils have excelled in the last year with my personalised lessons, unique to the pupil’s needs and the subject and exam board they study. After a free consultation, every student receives a unique teaching experience in my sessions, tailored to their target, their deadline, their availability and preferred revision style. Whether a pupil needs help on how to approach exam questions or wants a whole topic retaught, it’s important to me that the student feels like their sessions with me help propel them closer to their target rather than worry them further thinking ‘why can’t I get this?’, so it’s all about the individual- working at their pace to grow their natural ability and help them excel.
