About Alisha
I am a medical student who is genuinely passionate about learning and teaching, and I hope to inspire that same curiosity and motivation in the students I tutor. I believe medicine is fascinating, and while studying can be challenging, my goal is to make the process more structured, engaging, and manageable. I have experience tutoring biology during my undergraduate training and have demonstrated strong academic performance throughout medical school. I will graduate in the top 10% of my class, with Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) induction, honors in the majority of preclinical and clinical courses, a pass on USMLE Step 1, and a 265+ score on USMLE Step 2 CK.

My lessons focus on building structured, individualized study plans that balance content review, practice questions, and spaced repetition using flashcards or similar tools, while accounting for time remaining until the exam and other responsibilities. Sessions emphasize working through questions in a detailed, analytical way, strengthening clinical reasoning, and learning from mistakes and areas of uncertainty to improve exam performance. I am also available between sessions to answer questions via email or text as needed.
