About Uma
I am a first-year medical student at UCL from East London with previous voluntary teaching experience who is passionate about teaching and mentoring students in Biology. Having achieved an A* at GCSE and A at A level, I know very well the specific exam techniques needed to achieve the highest grades and am determined to help other students reach their goals.

Being a dedicated science student, I am able to give lessons from primary school students, up to A level students.
My teaching method is to first assess my students on what knowledge and skills they already have, and their preferred way of learning. I then use their subject-specific specification or textbook to branch off and give them practice questions and problem-solving questions.
