About Prabhjot Singh
Hello, I am a final year medical student at the University of York. I have a Masters in Clinical Neuroscience from King's College London. During my school days, I achieved 9 A*s at O levels and at A levels I got 4 A*s (in Physics, Further Mathematics, Chemistry and Economics) and an A in Biology. I scored 379/400 in Economics, with a score of 120/120 in one of the A2 papers. My score in Physics was 589/600, while in Chemistry and Pure Maths I obtained 575/600.
I would like to offer tutoring in these subjects in a way that enables students to understand concepts using their own logic and intelligence. This reinforces learning and helps students retain more of what they are taught. This will also boost exam performance as applying concepts that are well understood greatly helps when answering those tricky exam questions.
I prefer to explain concepts in a manner that is easy to understand. This involves breaking down things into their fundamentals, and once a student has grasps this, then they can pretty much help themselves along the way. I feel this is a very beneficial style of studying as it goes a long way in helping for university learning as well.
