About Leon
I am a medical student, who has been tutoring for nearly half a year. I have taught 5 students with 25 hours of tutoring under my belt. I have completed GCSEs and A-levels with high achieving grades. I now study at a great medical school where I work in the hospital and learn from some of the leading physicians. This course has sparked my love for science and I would love to teach this to you.

I teach my students using active recall as this method has been shown to be levels above any other method for learning and memorising. Our brains make long lasting connections by recalling information that has been learned. I find this method of teaching very rewarding when done properly and can be a huge confidence boost for students. I also teach my students the best way to revise efficiently. This means less stress and more free time during exam season. I have made many PowerPoint slides explaining tricky concepts within GCSE science, all with useful Gap fills at the end to consolidate the knowledge. All new students first complete an assessment which lets me know what level the student is working at. It gives me a good idea of where to start teaching.
