About Caleb
Hi there! My name is Caleb, and I love teaching others, be it peers or juniors in school. As a medical student, my academic progress depends heavily on self-directed learning and finding the most efficient ways to study/memorize information, and I can apply these same concepts to teaching you!
I think people generally respond well to my teachings, and find they can understand things better as I break them down in a simpler way. I view teaching/learning as an experience that should be fun, engaging, and manageable, as opposed to the monotonous info overload of many school lectures/tutorials today. My approach to teaching:
- I love to engage students in my lessons, making sure they are actively involved in the learning process rather than passively absorbing information
- I teach using various techniques, and according to the learning style best suited to the student! Be it didactic teaching, pictorial representation, or putting knowledge into practice with mental exercises and test questions
- I bring ENERGY to my lessons so it doesn't get boring!!
