About Doaa
Hi, I’m Doaa! I’m originally from the UK and I’m currently studying Medicine as a 2nd Year. I’ve always been interested in Biology and the way it connects to the human body, which is one of the reasons I chose to pursue Medicine.
I know from my own experience as a student that some Biology topics can seem complicated or overwhelming at first. I really enjoy breaking concepts down, finding different ways to explain them and helping someone go from “I don’t understand this” to “Oh, that actually makes sense!”
Outside of my studies, I enjoy travelling, fashion, gaming and exploring technology. I’ve also recently started learning about coding, so I’m always interested in learning new things myself.
I’m a friendly and approachable person, and I want my lessons to be somewhere students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and learning at their own pace. Whether you’re preparing for GCSEs, studying Biology before GCSE level, or simply want to build a stronger understanding of the subject, I’d be happy to help.

My approach to tutoring is friendly, patient and personalised to each student. I believe Biology is much easier when you understand how and why things work, rather than simply memorising large amounts of information.
I usually begin by identifying the topics the student finds most difficult and then break them down into smaller, easier-to-understand concepts. Depending on the student’s needs, lessons can include clear explanations, diagrams, active recall, practice questions and past-paper exercises. I also like to regularly check understanding and adapt the lesson based on where the student needs the most support.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, although I can be flexible depending on the student’s age, concentration and individual needs.
I am currently studying Medicine In Europe and have a strong academic background in Biology and the biomedical sciences. I have experience helping others understand and revise challenging academic topics, and I can bring my own experience as a student to make revision more practical and effective.
My lessons are primarily aimed at GCSE Biology students, generally aged 14–16, but I’m also happy to work with younger students studying Biology at a pre-GCSE or secondary-school level. For younger students, I can focus more on building a strong foundation, developing curiosity about Biology and making sure they understand the basics before progressing to more advanced topics.
I’m also happy to support students who are considering studying Medicine in the future and would like some insight into what studying Medicine is like.
