About Amelia
I am a medical student and have always loved studying and being organised. As a peer mentor at school I always got involved with teaching younger students about exam style technique and revision alongside my studies. Being a medical student I also understand the demands of striving for top grades and also about the application process to University. Alongside my peer mentoring I also have worked with young vulnerable children with their studies including young carers and refugee children. I am approachable and am friendly face so I'm happy to answer any questions you have :)

My lessons are usually an hour. I use a different teaching style depending on the student as everyone learns different! Within the sessions we will review the topic in question with diagrams, practise questions and exam style techniques. Consolidating knowledge is key so in each session I will ensure that I answer questions and the content is understood. Although I have not privately tutored beforeI have helped in several homework clubs and have helped students struggling at school as my rule this was part of my role as a peer mentor. I also have helped with young carers and refugee children with school work and homework in a similar area. I can help any age from 15-18, this may be flexible though.
