About David
Hello! I am a 4th year medical student at the University of Edinburgh with ample tutoring experience. I studied Biology Chemistry and Maths at A level, achieving 3 A*s and Student of the year for my school across all subjects, as well as AS level Biology Student of the year and A level Chemistry student of the year. I intercalated in neuroscience during medical school gaining knowledge on the systems affecting learning and memory. Alongside my medical studies, I have also been fortunate to gain experience in labs at the University of Oxford, University of Glasgow and University of Edinburgh, with my specific interest being in cancer research. I love the sciences and enjoy helping others to reach their potentials too!

Biology can often feel overwhelming due to the amount of information involved, but with the right approach they can become some of the most interesting and rewarding subjects to study. In my lessons, I focus on helping students develop a genuine understanding of concepts over just relying on memorisation alone. My key aim is therefore to teach the course in depth so you are able to build this understanding. I am also able to offer assistance for medical school applications such as UCAT tutoring, interview preparations and looking over personal statements.
