About Rosa
I am a 32 year old mum of one with a varied background which includes:
- A degree in Psychology
- 4 years teaching experience with A-level Psychology students in a college setting
- Completion of a PGCE in post-compulsory education
- An additional degree in medicine!
- Currently, I hold a part-time job as a teaching assistant in a prestigious Guildford Independent school
- Going forwards, I will be working part-time as a junior Doctor from August, so tutoring is something I would like to begin and continue as an additional occupation because I love teaching, and with childcare commitments I cannot undertake full-time work as a Doctor.

My teaching methods will be fully adaptable to the student (you!) Because of my broad range of experience teaching at college level and in my current role with primary school children, I am able to tailor the sessions to your needs and your learning objectives. I enjoy stretching more able students as much as supporting those who need a bit more help.
I will always make sure that you understand key concepts before moving on to something more difficult, and I place importance on recapping previously learnt topics.
Due to my extensive time spent in Education - I am also an excellent exam prep / revision tutor! I can help you find ways to organise your notes and learning, teach you how to break information down into smaller chunks and suggest ways you can utilise your existing memory skills to remember all those facts.
I am a supportive teacher who empathises and aims to build confidence and encourage independence - I want you to take more than just knowledge from these sessions, I would like you to learn how to be an independent learner or stretch your existing skills in this area.
