About Shannon
I am a mental health professional with experience in coaching individuals with life skills, stress management, anger management, parenting, relationships, domestic violence, codependence, drug and alcohol addiction and general bumps in the road. I have worked with all levels of individuals from the significantly mentally ill to "going through a few things." I have practiced as a substance abuse counselor and have in depth knowledge of codependence. I am also a domestic violence survivor and have national certification as a specialist in this area. I have experience as a survivor advocate, social work investigator, and a variety of things in between.
I have seen many people through the gambit of life's ups and downs and can see you through yours to help you get where you want to be.

I have a decade of education in psychology and mental health counseling. I hold numerous certifications and licences that range from basic life skills and parenting to specific advanced certifications in anger management, domestic violence, and victim impact. I won't bore you with the details of every certification, but I can give you a list at your request!
I have education and experience in cognitive behavioral approaches, humanistic approaches and psychoanalytical approaches. In other words, I can tailor the approach to what works for you! We can work from the past forward or from the now into the future. In any case, you'll find that you won't feel judged and that your life will start to move in a positive direction. No matter what you're going through or what you want to accomplish, I can help you find the best path.
