About Emily
I do my best to accommodate various personalities and age groups to ensure that everyone feels in a comfortable and safe environment where they can let loose and dance. With words of encouragement, I can help your little ones grow even more confident and feel accomplished. This way they will perform better in their overall lives, including school which I know can be difficult for them sometimes.

• Teaching ages 3-15 (with little to no experience necessary) • I approach teaching folklorico dance as a form of expression through an art form that I have loved since I was a little girl. My love for dance and my culture shines through my every move. I would love to share my love for folklorico with other young girls who may want to try it out but may not feel ready to go to an in-person dance class. •Dancing with me will allow students to connect to their roots and even indulge in the Mexican culture, while also remaining active and learning a new hobby. You can never know too much after all:) • I focus on the basics such as technique, footwork, and faldeo (mostly Jalisciense and Veracruzano) while also incorporating choreography so that your little ones can have fun and dance their hearts out. • I communicate clearly and effectively to all ages, whether it be in Spanish or English, I am at your service!

I’ve been dancing with Emily for many years and I know from watching her dance and working with her that she puts in a lot of effort!!
