About Jurri
I am a dedicated writing and creative storytelling tutor with a passion for helping students grow in confidence, clarity, and self-expression. With a background in professional writing, filmmaking, and teaching, I bring both technical skill and creative insight to every session. I hold an MFA from the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts, where I developed advanced storytelling and communication techniques that I now use to support students at all levels.
I specialize in essay writing, creative writing, and story development. Whether a student needs help organizing their thoughts, strengthening grammar, or bringing their ideas to life, I provide clear, structured guidance tailored to their individual needs. My approach is patient, encouraging, and focused on building long-term skills—not just completing assignments.
I have experience working with young students as well as aspiring writers, and I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and taking creative risks. I believe every student has a unique voice, and my goal is to help them discover it, develop it, and use it with confidence.
