About Dalton
I am an experienced Excel tutor with 11 years of teaching experience, helping school and college students build strong and practical skills. Over the years, I have successfully taught around 200 to 250 students, guiding them to improve their understanding and confidence in using Excel. My focus is always on making learning simple, useful, and easy to apply.
My teaching philosophy is based on clear concepts, regular practice, and real-life application. I believe students learn best when they understand how Excel is used in everyday tasks, projects, and jobs. I break down complex topics like formulas, functions, pivot tables, and data analysis into simple steps so students can follow easily.
I also focus on building problem-solving skills and improving accuracy. Each student gets personal attention, and I adapt my teaching style based on their level and learning pace. I encourage questions and make sure doubts are cleared properly. Patience and consistency are key parts of my approach.

My teaching approach in Excel is practical, structured, and focused on real world use. I teach core topics like formulas, functions, data analysis, charts, pivot tables, dashboards, and basic automation. Advanced topics such as data cleaning, lookup functions, conditional formatting, and reporting are also covered step by step.
I use real life examples and case studies so students can see how Excel is used in jobs and daily tasks. This helps in better understanding and long term retention. Each session includes hands on practice to build confidence. Learning is not just about watching but doing.
Accountability is an important part of my method. I give tasks and small projects to track progress and improve skills. Regular feedback helps students stay on the right path. Collaboration is encouraged, and students can freely ask questions and share their approach.
