About Aalia
My interest in spreadsheet technology began when I realized how useful Excel could be for organizing information and simplifying calculations. This curiosity led me to study Information Systems at university, where I completed a Bachelor’s degree and gained deeper understanding of data management tools. During my studies, I often helped classmates understand spreadsheet functions, which inspired me to begin teaching.
Over the past 4 years, I have worked with students and professionals who want to improve their Excel skills. Many learners initially feel confused by formulas or data functions, but these tools become much easier when explained clearly. My teaching approach focuses on patience and practical examples so students can see how each feature works in real situations. By practicing small tasks step by step, learners gradually build confidence using the software.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring new productivity tools and learning about different ways technology can simplify daily tasks. Staying familiar with digital tools allows me to bring practical insights into my lessons. Teaching Excel allows me to support learners in developing skills that improve organization, efficiency, and confidence when working with data.

Learning Excel becomes much easier when students understand how spreadsheets can organize information and simplify everyday tasks. In my lessons, I introduce learners to the essential tools that make Excel a powerful and practical program. We begin with the basic layout of worksheets, cells, rows, and columns so students become comfortable navigating the interface. From there, I guide learners through simple data entry, formatting techniques, and organizing information clearly. These early skills help students understand how spreadsheets can be used for academic work, business tasks, and personal organization.
As lessons continue, students explore useful features such as formulas, functions, charts, and data sorting. I explain how formulas work step by step so learners understand how calculations are created and applied. Functions like SUM, AVERAGE, and IF statements are introduced gradually, allowing students to practice each concept before moving forward. Practical exercises help learners see how Excel can solve real problems, such as managing budgets, tracking records, or analyzing data sets.
With consistent practice, students begin to recognize how Excel improves productivity and decision making. They develop the ability to organize complex information in a clear and structured way. My goal is to help learners feel confident using spreadsheets for both academic and professional tasks while building skills that remain useful in many areas of work and study.
