• Can you tell us about your first experience using a computer?

  My first experience was using my dad's MacBook to type out a letter. It was a simple task, but it sparked my fascination with technology and its ability to transform ideas into tangible outcomes.

• What is the technological evolution that has marked you most, and what do you think will be a turning point in this field?

  Artificial intelligence is the most transformative evolution I've witnessed. It's reshaping industries and revolutionizing how we solve problems. Over the next decade, I believe we'll see breakthroughs that redefine not just technology but also our daily lives, from personalized education to advanced healthcare.

• Explain your expertise, your interest in it, and its broader importance in the computer world.

  As an MIT graduate in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, I bring a deep understanding of technology and its applications. With over a decade of experience tutoring programming and math, I specialize in making complex concepts accessible. My expertise spans languages and technologies like Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, C++, and TypeScript, as well as algorithms and system design. I'm passionate about empowering students to build confidence and problem-solving skills, enabling them to thrive in the rapidly evolving tech world.

• Do so-called 'visionaries,' such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and Mark Zuckerberg inspire you, or do you have other role models?

  Absolutely. I'm inspired by visionaries who challenge the status quo and create meaningful products that change lives. Their ability to turn bold ideas into reality motivates me to innovate and mentor others to achieve their potential.

• Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

  During my time at MIT, I was part of the student leadership of AITI (Accelerating Information Technology Initiative), a student-led group focused on teaching Java and entrepreneurship to students abroad. One memorable experience was working with a group of talented students who, despite limited resources, developed innovative software solutions to solve local challenges. It was inspiring to witness their creativity and determination, and it reinforced my belief in the power of education and technology to create opportunities and drive change.

• What would you say to someone uncomfortable in front of a screen who says that "IT is too complicated"?

  I'd say IT is like a puzzle-intimidating at first, but manageable once you break it into smaller pieces. With patience and the right guidance, anyone can learn to navigate the field and solve problems effectively. IT is one of the most accessible and rewarding fields for those willing to take the first step.

• What are your other passions, related or unrelated to computers?

  Outside of technology, I love spending time with my two daughters. They remind me of the importance of curiosity, patience, and continuous learning-qualities that also define my teaching approach.

  As an MIT graduate with over a decade of tutoring experience, I excel at simplifying complex topics and tailoring lessons to individual needs.
