I’ve known greg since the 1990s, as a person, and as a musician/producer/engineer, and he has one of the best set of ears ever. He can hear things in a very unique and precise way, unlike almost anybody else I know. He’s always a few steps ahead of everyone else in terms of finding creative new instruments and software/hardware to play with, and endlessly creative. He’s equally adept at recording acoustic, as well as electronic music, especially at combining the two. As a musician, I played with him, and as a label, released his music, and booked him for live events here in Tokyo, which I always looked forward to as a friend. When drawing together or at a festival, I always look forward to having an hour or two just to talk to him about Music, and here’s the latest techniques and Trixie to come up with. I’ve been making music for almost 30 years now, but I would still take a course with Prof. Hunter!
