About Leo
I started learning Spanish when I was 11. Nearly a decade later, I've travelled all over Spain, studying there for 10 months before settling into my modern languages course at Lancaster University. I find language so fun, and it has led me to meet so many, many people. If I can share even a tiny bit of that joy with my students, I would be overjoyed. I have a passion for teaching, and would love to help as many people as possible through their exams or studies.

I'm well equipped to deal with a range of levels of Spanish. Tutoring for GCSEs is where I excel at, as I used to tutor GCSE students in the past. However, my material covers a wide range of topics across all levels, from beginner phrases all the way up to advanced A-Level grammar. Adult classes are always welcome, everybody deserves an opportunity to learn a language, regardless of age
I personally believe the basis to becoming good at a language is understanding the key aspects of grammar and conjugation which make it tick. Learning set phrases is good for going on holiday, but to truly feel at home speaking Spanish, I want you to be able to understand how those phrases work and the grammatical nuances behind them. Why just learn how to say '¿Cómo estás?', why not learn how to apply those same words into other scenarios?
My lessons are taught in one hour sessions as many times a week as you'd like and can be as intensive or as relaxed as you need them to be. Focus will mainly be on grammar and pronunciation, but I will tailor topics to whatever is important to you.
