About Erin
I am a second year student at the University of Glasgow and working toward a Joint Honours degree in Modern Languages - I have studied French, Spanish and Italian up to level 2 university level with 5 Higher Qualifications in high school, 3 of which were A’s for my languages. I love to volunteer in my old school helping kids with language work and tutor my own sister at home. I am always up for making learning languages fun! They are so useful.

I am a social person, I love to chat and make people feel comfortable before the lesson officially begins. This could be with a little introductory chat about your name, age, favourite food etc. Vocabulary that I will cater to the students level, not alarming them with unknown territory! My approach to lessons usually begins with flash cards catered to the students interest, or topic area. I use Quizlet to do this via zoom/FaceTime at the moment of face to face teaching is not available. Flash cards are a quick way to introduce the vocab of the lesson. I usually then have small games or exercises created by myself (depending on age) to focus in on the grammar points of the lesson - without boring the student. I have 3/4 different tasks in an hours session as I like to keep the student interested and involved, never bored!
