About Patricia
I'm an A Grade former A Level Spanish student, now studying Korean and Japanese at the University of Sheffield.
I'm also fluent in Portuguese and an enthusiast for other languages (French and Italian).
I spent a big part of my life learning languages, both at school and at home as a hobby, so I have a lot of love and experience with language learning, in particular with Spanish, and its a passion that I love sharing with the people around me.
I hope by becoming a tutor I am able to share my enthusiasm and help other students become as excited about improving an learning Spanish as I once was back when I was first learning.

My tutoring is suitable for complete beginners all the way up to A-Level (Year 13).
I'm able to help with any academic content such as homework, exam preparation, revision and essay proof reading, or just general language learning, speaking/pronunciation and any doubts the student may have.
I have former experience from tutoring other students in my former secondary school and current university, and having been an A-Level Spanish student myself, I'm able to identify with the student and offer an immersive, pressure-free but effective tutoring.
I'm able to look back on my own experience as a student and see what worked well for me and what could have been better and apply that to my tutoring.
Getting to know each student, their goals and how they would like to improve as well as making sure they aren't overwhelmed with the language learning is very important to me.
I do also like to immerse students in the language as much as possible, as that is an effective way to catch mistakes and correct them as well as improving speaking skills.
