About Chandra
I am an MOE-trained English teacher with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) and over 25 years of teaching experience in Singapore. I have taught students of varied abilities, from high-performing SAP schools to diverse neighbourhood school classrooms. This has equipped me with the skills to adapt my teaching to meet each student's unique learning needs.
I am passionate about helping Secondary students, particularly those preparing for their O-Level English exams, gain confidence and improve steadily. I believe in providing structured lessons, clear explanations, and constructive feedback to guide students toward meaningful progress.

I tailor each lesson to suit the needs and ability levels of my students. I have taught both SAP and neighbourhood school students, and I specialise in preparing Secondary students—especially those sitting for the O-Level exam.
My lessons typically run for 1 to 1.5 hours and are conducted online for convenience and flexibility. Each session is focused on building specific skills such as reading comprehension, writing structure, situational writing, and grammar accuracy. I provide clear, detailed feedback on practice work, and guide students to identify their areas for improvement.
Using a mix of scaffolded support, answering techniques, exam-style practice, I have helped students become more confident and independent in their learning. My approach is patient, structured, and goal-oriented—ideal for students who need both academic support and encouragement.
