Molecular biology PhD teaching biology to a masters level, GCSE sciences and maths

Following two disrupted teaching years of A level biology due to Covid and the decision by the government for the schools to assess the students, I needed support with some areas of Biology that I did not understand and could not apply. Jodie was extremely patient and explained the topics clearly, using visual diagrams to aid my learning. She prepared thoroughly for these sessions and had found A level questions to go through to ensure a full understanding of the topic. She was friendly and flexible with timing. I would highly recommend her for tutoring.

I attended University with Jodie and studied Biology. Many of our units overlapped and we would choose topics and teach them to each other. Jodie is very good at explaining complex processes clearly and concisely. She was also very patient and able to explain concepts in multiple ways if I couldn’t understand the first time. She is incredibly enthusiastic about the subject, which she’s building a career on. Additionally, Jodie has a strong grounding in statistics and her math skills are great. I would strongly recommend her as a tutor for both Biology and Maths.
